Study Group for GRE Biochem April 2009
Hi,
I am a student of M.Res Molecular Medicine at University of Glasgow. I have created this thread for those who are taking the biochem subject GRE - April 2009 test. Hi This is Parvathy and I am a Grad student at Seton Hall Unversity, South Orange, NJ. I am taking the test in April as well and I am highly nervous. WOuld appreciate all forms of help. I am using Biochemistry - Stryer, Molecular Cell Biology - Baltimore as well as Genes XI and I am reading Molecular Biology at the moment.

Hi Parvathy,
Good to know that you are giving GRE as well. I have not started studying as yet as I am not able to manage it alongwith my studies and my lab. But I plan to hit it soon. Thank you for telling me the books. I am quite horrified of the Bruce Alberts due to paucity of time but I guess I ll have a look at the books that you have mentioned. I wish to tell you that the Question book that follows Bruce Alberts is quite helpful. It has a nice collection of Qs that are framed on the subject GRE pattern. There is a Q'aire to Stryer as well. Hi
I am planning to take the GRE subjet test on biochemistry and molecular biology on October 2009.I am living in New jersey .I have a B.s. in molecular biology(microbiology).Although I am graduated many years ago.It is 2 months that I am working in a molecular biology lab. any way, I wonder if I could find some of you guys seeking the same goal as me. so we can plan and follow together(like a study group).I just borrowed some books today and I am ready to start( if it is not still too late) ![]() let me know ![]() |
