My plan is to follow the material outlined by ETS... Plus I will be taking one final biochemistry course on metabolism and regulation this summer.
I am just going to use the books I got from my courses:
Biochemistry (Voet and Voet)
Molecular Cell Biology (Lodish et al.)
Introduction to Genetic Analysis (Griffiths et al.)
Then I also have these two books which I probably wont study from:
Molecular Biology of the Gene (Watson et al.)
Brock Biology of Microorganisms (Madigan and Martinko)
Hi Sheleza!! Waht do you do currently? Have you started on your preparations for the subject GRE? I've done my Master of Health Sciences from Pune University. Wish to appear for subject GREin november. However i called up ETS center yesterday n was told that they have stopped conducting GRE in India. Was shocked to hear that and am sure tht might be a temporary notice until August. But if any1 else has heard abt this por favor, el seņor let me know. So how are you preparing for sub GRE?

i've completed my M.Sc in biochemistry in 2005 and at present preparing for both General n Subject Gre;will be taking the exams in aug n nov resp.About the Gre sub test, they'll put up the notice on the ets website. however, registration will start only in later july or early august. my perp for subject test is going fine. wht bout u? hv u started prep? wht r u planning to do??
I'm takin a brk right now. Will be going to vancouver by march after marriage... So wish to study there... So does taking a brk affect in anyway...i mean wont anyone ask y did u take a brk just to study for competitve exams... tht is a genuine doubt running in my mind currently... n i'm thinkin whether to take a brk or no.. would u suggest me to take a brk?? coz again doin job for 6 months till marriage (dec) might not be of much help... humph![]()
