retaking test

Hi guys i need your opinions,

Is it better to take subject test when you are fully prepared, atleast when you are confident that you have sufficient knowledge to attempt all questions and you made enough refereshing of topics or trying yourself just to see your luck and not reporting it.

As far as i know gre score is cumulative so does a low score taken without proper preparation may hurt me later if i have to take test later in a time.

Thanks.

That's not really possible with this test, but I understand what you mean. I really don't know, but I would say take it early (twice) if you think you can at least get 50th percentile the first time. Of course, if you live in India or China, you only have standby registration left for the exam this November.
