Taking the Computer Science Exam twice

Hi,
I will be taking the Computer Science Gre Exam this Nov. (7/11/09). But,unfortunately I couldn't manage to study for it. . So, this time it is just to get a feel for the exam. I plan to take it again in April, 2010(possibly in Sri Lanka). Will it be the right thing to do so? Will both my scores be reported? Thanks!!!

11 days will be plenty if you are brushing up on what you learned in your classes and rounding out your knowledge, but 5 months won't be nearly enough if you are starting from scratch. It depends on where you're coming from, but I wouldn't totally give up on the november test, you might do well!

I studied for about a week and I think I was able to improve on my cold score quite a bit. When you start looking up old information it will all start coming back to you. I refreshed my memory on Euler circuits real quick the night before the test and there just happened to be a question on them - but I studied caching for a full day and none of the info was needed for my test! Stick with what you've learned in class and you'll be covering a lot of bases.

Good luck!
