these are some of the problems i found difficult to solve......especially the DI problems which create a hell lot of confusion

what is the faster way to approach the second problem coz it is time consuming

Actual temperature = 30 is the last column in actual temperatures. Now if you see where 0 apparent temperature would be, it'd be between 25 (corresponding to 1) and 30 (corresponding to -2)


2)

S = 1- 1/2 + 1/3 - 1/4 +1/5 - 1/6 + 1/7 - 1/8 + 1/9 - 1/10


S = 1/2 + (1/3 - 1/4 = +ve) + (1/5 - 1/6= +ve) + (1/7-1/8 = +ve) + (1/9 - 1/10 = +ve)

so S has to be > 1/2

i understood hw the first one is to be done
since 0 degrees centigrade lies between 1 and -2 ,the wind speeds corresponding 1 and -2 is the answer that is 25 and 30
