    Question;
    If two sides of a triangle have lengths 3.2 & 5.4, then the length of the third side must be between
    (a)0.0 & 0.2
    (b)2.4 & 5.4
    (c)2.2 & 8.6
    (d)3.2 & 5.4
    (e)5.4 & 8.6

    answer: C

    Let c be the length of third side. According to triangle inequality, we must have:
    (5.4 - 3.2) < c < (5.4 + 3.2). This supplies that 2.2 < c < 8.6
    Thus, answer of this question is C.

    According to the rules of triangles........

    1)The third side should be lesser than the sum of other two sides
    2)The third side should be greater than the difference btn the other two sides

    So the answer is C.
