Bigbook Math Explanation

Big book has no explanation for its answers....it's causing problem. can any body help me with the explanations with these:

Ans is A...why? i think ans should be B

Q.23 & Q.25 data interpr question. If any body has Bigbook can u pls explain the answer?

Ans is B ....3 = -m . So, m= -3

(0.82)^5 (0.82)^6
A is greater because when you take squares,cubes,etc of a number, it only decreases as the number is <1.
