Right....you're correct "just" in 760 cases out of 800 :)

Now regarding the problem I have a question:

 

Let x - number of men. x/2 - number of married man. 9x/20=y - number of married woman. If x = 20 then y should be 9. That means the number of woman shouldn't be 9, not 23 ? Where I go wrong ? There are also woman on the trip who are not married ? (the difference from 23 to 9) ?
