    I am a bit short on time, so I did not look at the second picture.

    For the first picture:

    1) Look at the picture

    2) Draw a dotted line from the 125 all the way down to the opposite angle that is also 125 (opposite angles are equal in a Parellelogram) and you have the side that is the height.

    3) Now, from what we know about Triangles, we know the side opposite the Hypotenuse is the biggest side correct? So that line you drew that gives you your height has to be less than 6 (therefore less than 24), does this make sense?

    for the first problem the area of a parralleogram=base*height.since base is 4 and the height should be less than 6.so the area is also should be less than 24.so the ans is B.

    for the second problem
    let R=rapsberry,S=straberry,B=blueberry and
    x=both R and B,y=both R and S,z=both B and S
    x+y+9+40=87,or,x+y=38......(1)
    x+z+12+40=91,or,x+z=39.....(2)
    y+z+10+40=91,or,y+z=41......(3)

    solving equations we get, z=21 that means the number of people surveyed both blueberry and straberry.
