Hey shouldn't it be 0.04x = 1500 + 0.06(x-3000)
=> 0.04x = 1500 + 0.06x - 180

x comes out to be -ve

shift the terms around... you get a -ve on either side... ie -x = -15000... x =15000...

Nope solve the equation correctly......
we get x = -56000

And anyways, 15000 doesn't satisfy the equation.
