a= +- root5/2 (not +-5/2)
with that max distance= root140 < 12

shift the terms around... you get a -ve on either side... ie -x = -15000... x =15000...

Nope solve the equation correctly......
we get x = -56000

And anyways, 15000 doesn't satisfy the equation.

0.04x = 1500 + 0.06x - 180
0.02x = 1320
x = 66000
