SNYP40A1
Is there a maximum length that a GRE passage cannot exceed? I am studying LSAT reading comprehension passages from the 3000 RC. The LSAT questions seem a bit more difficult compared to GRE and GMAT questions, and also a bit different. But I am wondering if there is a GRE passage length limit, I thought I remember hearing 400 words, but I am not sure. Anyone know of this? Reason I ask is because some of the harder LSAT passages approach 550 words. I think LSAT has the hardest RCs.
seagull
i guess, there is no specific limitation on the length of GRE passages. from my experience i found that passages generally having the lengths ranging from 30~50 lines have 2 questions referred to it, 50~70 lines have 3 questions and 70+ lines have 4 questions. but the maximum lenghth possible is around 120 lines. but i didnt find any passage in CBT which has more than 4 questions related to it.
