Even i am confused about this question.
Here is the explanation..The phrase 'it is hard' implies that there is a contradiction.

but, taciturn is completely different quality which has no correspondence with profound or ecnomic

Please explain seagull. I jus cant find the logic for perceptive although it has connection with being profound. If he is freq perceptive, you can easily believe in his profound thinking ,etc.
