For the 1st question the answer (in my point of view) is A.Because scourge is a source of widespread dreadful affliction and devastation such as that caused by pestilence or war .Such thing cannot be bannished ,denounced instead weaken.Hence, A.
But , in my answer sheet they have said that answer shud be C, which i couldn't understand why it should be..? |
