Does "For some time now" mean "recently"?

I don' understand the meaning of "angle" in the sentence.
Since the answer is D" disinterestedness" I infer It have the secondary meaning" interestedness". Is it correct?

yes you are right, in this sentence angle means that everyone has some point of view or interests,
