Answer C:
Look at the last blank, it is a little metaphorical in nature, it likens the verb to the act of putting on something, a garment perhaps. The answer choices include only 1. That is, cloak. Take a look at the first blank. It matches well. If you become famous then you lose your identity (thats ironical), the characteristics of the "status" force you to put on the cloak. What first blank choices can be status? A, C ,D. Only C matches well enough in both blanks... |
