Can someone help me with number 6? Why is C right as opposed to B?
I am trying to understand the mistake I made.

By inviting technocrats the problems where worsened exacerbate is the apt word for it.
6. Winsor McCay, the cartoonist, could draw with incredible ------- : his comic strip about Little Nemo was characterized by marvelous draftsmanship and sequencing.

(A) sincerity
(B) efficiency
(C) virtuosity
(D) rapidity
(E) energy
The person may show efficiency but that is not explained in the sentence but his deftness is highlighted using words like draftsmanship

The actual ------- of Wilson's position was always ------ by his refusal to compromise after having initially agreed to negotiate a settlement.

(A) outcome.. foreshadowed
(B) logic.. enhanced
(C) rigidity.. betrayed
(D) uncertainty.. alleviated
(E) cowardice.. .highlighted
wilson would have had a firm hold if he hadnt recanted or taken back what he promised as a result it has affected his place in the company or what ever post they are talking about
