It is ironic that a critic of such overwhelming vanity now suffers from a measure of the oblivion to which he was forever --- others; in the end, all his --- has only worked against him.
(A) dedication, self-possession
(B) leading, self-righteousness
(C) consigning, self-adulation *
(D) relegating, self-sacrifice
(E) condemning, self-analysis

I think the answer will be between (c) and (E)
But I think the (E) will be more appropriate than (c)
the first word should be one which means taking upperhand to others....
here condemning is appropriate..which means declare others to be wrong....
if we take a look to the second blank the word self-adulation is correct but it also can be possible that critics are suffering because of there improper self analysis...
So considering the two option I think (E) is more appropriate....
plz let me know the correct answer....
-thanx

His oblivion(forgetfulness) made him to consign to others.
