Most of the sentences are logically structured. The good indicators of "sense", are generally transitional words eg Although, despite, however, etc. Read the sentence and think of words that best fit the blanks. Then, match your words with the options given. The last part boils down to simply knowing the definitions of the words and how to aptly use them.

E should be the ans, innit ?

bloo regulation is impaired, but inconclusive results show no proper relationship, i.e. obscure the relationship

Makumajon is on the way!
(1) Exposure to sustained noise has been claimed to ---------blood pressure regulation in human beings and, particularly, to increase hypertension,(2) even though some researchers have obtained inconclusive results that ----the relationship.

Part (1) talks that exposure is bad because it increases hypertension. So, the first word must be a BAD word that hampers regulation.

There are three BAD words at left: C, D, and E.

Part (2) says that relationship between exposure and worsening of regulation is inconclusive.

Inconclusive result cannot buttress (support) a relationship.
Inconclusive result does not neutralize a relationship.
Inconclusive result can obscure (make unclear) a relationship.

E must be the answer.
