Hi, these are my answers; someone verify them please
![]() 1)C Hawk is a symbol of war, dove is a symbol of peace 2)B Rubber wears out due to friction, novelty wears out due to repetition. 3)C Automation doesn't possess originality, hothead doesnt possess equinamity. 4)E A count is an aristocrat, an ant is an insect 5)B harvest is the antonym of plant, decommission is the antonym of launch 6)A needle is an instrument used to stitich, shears are an instrument used to prune (cut off) 7)C (Prototype=original.) 8)D (protagonist=lead character).."it's about time" is a wayof saying that it's time we make a change (and have a female in a lead role) 9)C (Epithet=disparaging title or name).."great" is laudatory Personally, I don't think this is a good book to study from at all. You should stick to GRE prep material. |
