A simple statement confused
Hi all,
The following statement is not always true: If a < b and a*b # 0, then 1/a > 1/b; with a and b are real numbers. I failed to find a counter example of the above statement. Could someone please help? Thanks

Re: A simple statement confused
-2 < -1
1/(-2) > 1/(-1) This fits the statement. I need a counter example which shows that the statement is wrong. Regards,
