Big CD by edusoftech is bogus

Hi all

This post is to warn you all about the website selling their products http://www.edusoftech.com/index.asp.It claims to sell products for GRE and other stuff.I recently ordered a 10 CBT based pack from them and wanted to reuse it but i was not able to , on calling the concerned people this is what i got " You can register it only once and cant reuse it" how ridiculous is that , why cant i use a dw i have purchased again.I would like to warn all of you wanting to buy this crap sw.

what do you mean? You can only log in to take the exam once? please advise because i was about to buy the software. Thanks for the heads up

By bogus I mean its fake in the sense it cant be reused unlike other softwares which after reinstallation can be reused. I found problems the second time i tried to register for that again after i reinstalled it , i was unable to install it 2nd time, so yeah that pretty much sums up the story.As far as the level is concerned its ridiculously high and the scoring is pathetic , i score 18/30 and it showed me a score of 310 on VA.I was completely shocked.Mind you Im talking abt the 10 CBTs , i have no idea abt the CATs.

I was going through various posts and found this post of thine. Couldn't resist to write. I am completely surprised at your response. I have used their GRE CBT as well as GRE CAT and both are really good. Yes, they are tough but that is what we want when we are practising, right? Whts the point of practising simple problems? Reg. re-registration, i guess they have a pretty clear stand on tht, no piracy allowed & I am completely FOR non-piracy. In fact, this forum also supports non-piracy. Amazing job there, u BIG CD guys. Keep making such softwares and helping the student community.

I am not sure about 2nd registration, but the big cd ( edusoftech.com ) is NOT bogus for sure. I was running out of time and I called them to upgrade my order for overnight shipping instead of the conventional one and they surprised me They actually setup the download version of the CAT for me within no time (less than 15 mins) and I could use the software.

1st test was tough and I scored a 890(though i was scoring 1100+ in PP) I emailed them to know that their scoring pattern is a lil tough on users. they claim to add anywhere between 200 to 300 points on the average of 5 tests score.

lets see i might re-write the GRE in a month. will keep you guys updated !

PS: I had used their GMAT in the past tht too was smooth
