Barrons vocab enuff???

Hey friends

I have my GRE in less than 2 months. I gave poweprep 1 to check my level and I got 1190 which have really depressed me. I need to improve my score and I don't have enuff time with me. I have only done A, B, v, w ,x ,y, z alphabets from barrons till now. I am really worried abt my doing them all and retaining them, though I seem to have no problem till now . But seriously is barrons enuff?? If it is not then which extra book should I follow. I don't have enuff time with me so tell me only which book I really really should follow.

Secondly, I have heard abt gre bible. Does it have 300 extra words to barrons that some says one should do??. But I guess it wud prolly take me pretty long to order them from pellucid learnming system. How long do they send the CD after getting draft??

I also originally thought doing barron's list was enough. I'm taking my 1st GRE on 9/30.
I'm just doing all kinds of past GRE questions right now. And it sometimes gets frustrating. Therefore, I'm trying to identify what mistakes I have made when doing those tests. Remember to PRATICE former GRE questions. Once you sign up for a test date, ETS should give you the CD in less than 7 days. Good luck, and wish me luck too

Hey minu..u r terrific..2 months to go n got 1190 in powerprep....simply great......i think u've inspired me now...i'll be writing mine in few weeks & still got same score on powerprep............

I have read ur posts. Believe me, you are really good .Ur answers are mostly rt. You all ace GRE thats for sure


I think it was pp1 in which I got 1190 .........am too scared to give pp2. Besides will give it near my exam.
So which book are u following for GRE vocab ???

u've got a good chance bcoz u've time to improve ur score.

as for the GRE Bible CD......a friend of mine had ordered it n used it.he gave his GRE in Sept n he claims he knew all the words & his verbal section went exceptionally well.But since his quant went bad n he was sure he wont get the perfect 800 he cancelled his score n is giving GRE again.

listening to this even i was tempted to order the CD BUT dont want to collect just everything n then complete nothing,so i didnt order it.but if u feel u can do something other than Barrons too, u may go for it.
