Re: GRE Verbal
I always seem to offer the same advice. Most likely you are forgetting the vocabulary because you aren't using it. I dont advocate going around creating full phrases of only GRE words
Try adding a bit of actual reading to you memorization. It's a lot more fun, and much classic literature has loads of GRE words. I would add say 20 minutes a day. My recommendation is The Economist, and the Penguin series of inexpensively publishedd classics. Once you have seen the word used in a real context, not an artificial sentance made by PowerPrep, you will probably recall it. Another method is for you to make up your own phrases, using names of people you know. Know someone who is irascible? make up a sentance about that person, unlikely you will forget the meaning as you know the person. Find learning GRE verbal lugubrious? Also likely you won't forget it if you relate it to your experierence. Hope you find this helpful! Good Luck ![]() |
