Is Barrons = 400, 500, 600 or 700 ?

Hi There,

If I just do barrons word list fully, how much can I expect to get 400, 500, 600 or 700?

Or is it too difficult to say?

Anyone has any specific experiences which they would like to share

U can get 800 too, depends on thy depth of studying and completing barrons.
and few tests will do fine is my view i dont know abt others.

600-650! If u have perfected barrons worldlist and tactics. this is score range you should get for verbal.According to me, anything scoring above this requires better RC skills.

Can't predict. It depends on the hardwork you put in and also the verbal and quant skills you possess. As far as antonyms go, yes.. barrons is jus fine. But the other sections need you to think a bit and it clearly depends on how much you have practiced

1400 is quite a good score, how did you manage rc.

Well reema.. That was the toughest part for me. I couldnt make out anything. I looked at the question and tried to find the answer accordin to the logic given in the passage. It was tough .. but I made many calculated guesses in RCs and I think I would have got few right. Probably in RCs, I lost the majority of points. I got 640 in Verbal. For practicin RCs, there is a file called 'GMAT GRE LSAT' in this forum. You could use the 'SEARCH' to look out for that file. It has about 63 passages in each. Chk that out and practice hard.

thank a lot for helpfull mail, i am retaking my gre had 1100 in my previous test,and 260 in toefl. i made a lot of mistakes in the quant part, i am not from maths background, could you please tell me how can i improve my score in quant part.
