Visual Dictionary
It's interesting how I never dug deeper into Merriam-Webster Online, since that has been my starting browser page for some months. They now have what is called the visual dictionary, Visual Dictionary Online, and I just absolutely love it. Personally there is no better way to memorize vocabulary than with imagery to go with it. One word of warning; the vocabulary is not geared towards standardized exams, and therefore you might get more out of your studying time by memorizing vocab lists instead.

That's probably really helpful for generally improving vocab. Thanks for the link! But for GRE studying, definitely GRE word lists. I thought the best one was Word Smart for the GRE. I don't like the massive word lists, and WS is nicely condensed.

I use dictionary.com, and I really really like Cambridge Dictionaries Online - Cambridge University Press because it gives really cool examples.
