Advice for Ph.D.

Dear folks,
Since I am new to this blog it will take me sometime to get acquainted.I am interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of Life Science,so i wanted to know whether it is mandatory to appear for the "Subject test" since I have completed my Master's in Biotechnology.Apart from this I would be grateful if anyone could advice me as to how to give a head start to my preparation and do things in a much systematic and easy way.

Hi MTAB1380. Welcome to the TestMagic Forums.

You are better off asking the universities you are applying to about their Subject Test requirements, since universities tend to have different policies.

For the General GRE, you should first become familiar with the format of the test. Start working on your vocabulary for the Verbal section, and see how much of Quants you know and how much you need to brush up on.

Thanks Golddust for the clarification.I too was having a similar doubt.Now I understand its basically a requirement based on university and course.
