Easy but tricky try it pls 4 me.......what is the ans's?
A printer numbers the pages of book starting with 1 and uses 639 digits
a) the number of pages in the book b)250 which one is greater ?how? |

Number of one-digit pages from 1 to 9 = 9Number of two digit pages from 10 to 99 = 90Number of three digit pages =x
Total number of required figures 9 * 1 + 90* 2 + x * 3 = 639 ==>639-189/3 = x =150 <250 So, the answer is B |
