Review on the official GRE book
Hi there,
I am thinking of getting the official GRE book from ETS, 'GRE: Practicing to take the general test, 10th edition'. If anyone has tried it, how does the difficulty level compare with the actual test? I believe from the reviews on the Big Book, that the math section might be a bit simpler. Is that correct? Also, are there repetitive tests in between the Big Book and this official guide? I'm planning to take the test sometime in August. Thanks in advance! |

The 10th Edition is basically a condensed version of the Big Book. If you don't have BB, it is better to get that instead of the 10th edition.
I have not been through the 10th Edition but I believe that the sort of questions in both books remain more or less the same, if not the same questions being repeated. BB Math is indeed simpler, so you might want to look at other sources like ETS Math Review, Nova GRE or even Barron's for that. |
