• Computer Science Undergraduate from India, Class of 2009
• Grade X, XII, College - Merit 1
• No Break in Education, with sound technical inclination.

Queries -

• First Impression on the Scores?
• Does TOEFL require preparation, I cannot apply until then, so thinking to give it ASAP (have a IT company to join after 10 days, would be instigated in a training environment for 6 months, would have less time to prepare then)
• Should I prepare for 1(or maybe 2) more month and complete Barrons 3500 WL and give GRE again (could be tedious, I may not have much time after I join)?
• Can I expect Financial Aid from these Universities (or any other if you may suggest so, restraining to US is not a requirement)?
  • Any Other Suggestion?

The 1200 level is adequate, a high quantitative score leaves a good impression.
UIUC: is very competetive, (for the best of my knowledge) they don't require GRE, if you want to crack UIUC you need the best of everything (GPA, letter of reference, statement of purpose, etc.)

University of Florida: I recall that average GRE of their admitted student is relatively higher than yours but you still can make it there, just take care of the other aspects of the application.

USC and NJIT: they almost admit everybody.

Admission with fund on the MS level is not common, however some schools offer tution wavier.

TOEFL is more about your English background, if you have a good background, a couple of weeks of preperation and practicing should be enough. Take care of Speaking especially if you want to apply for TA positions.

This is your call, of course a higher GRE score will boost your profile.

can I apply now (that I am due to give TOEFL) and request them to accept my TOEFL score in 1 month (would sit for TOEFL on 25th July).

Yes, you can fill the online application and send the transcripts and once the TOEFL result is out your profile will be ready for evaluation.

You can apply without a TOEFL for now but remmeber that many universities may hold your application till they receive a TOEFL score.

Your GRE score is adequate for admission, but many universities give important to GRE for funding. It acts as a tie breaker too when you are close in many other credentials with other candidates. If you are unable to take GRE before you apply, then go ahead with the current score for now. As I said, it is not the best but it is not bad either (to keep you from applying).
