Can this happen?
Today i gave a test on the kaplan software. and throughout the test i was really struggling. and this headache i have also didnt help. but by the end of it, when i checked the scores it was 720 for quant and 590 for verbal. i was like really, are u kiddin me? 720 in quant seemed a joke. since it was my last section and my headache was increasing by the minute i just guessed the last 5 questions. all in all, i did 17 right and 11 wrong. and i still got 720. there's some problem with the software right? i mean 1310 for that lousy attempt seems ridiculous. |

Yeah this is possible in Computer Adapted Test. Your initial questions are more important than the last ones. So I would say, initial 10 are important. Middle 10 are normal, and last 8 not so important.
Having said that, I don't know how accurate Kaplan's algorithm is. So you should try giving PowerPrep, which is very accurate. |
