Q: If n & d are positive integers such that n is multiple of d, how many positive multiples of d are less than or equal to n????
answer: n/d Q: If the assets of certein mutual fund dropped by $3.04billion to $74.04billion. What was approximate percentage decrease in Fund assets??? answer: 4% (Please Explain their Solution....) |

1) plug in numbers...that's the shortest way. first take d=2 and n=4 thus there are 2 multiples of d(2) i.e 2 and 4 that are equal to or less than 4. then try for 3 and so on. u will see the pattern.
2) formula for calculating this is percentage decrease = (change in assets/original amt of assets)*100. change is = 3. original amount = 74+3. this approximates to 4. hope that's helpful |
