Hey nmobin27,
To start , Welcome to Testmagic!! You have three months in hand to prepare for gre which is more than enough. For Verbal: 1. Start with the barrons wordlist. First, do the high frequency words thoroughly. Then do the other words. But you hav to build up your vocab gradually. 2. After completing aroun 1000-1500 words start with the BIGBOOK. Just google it and you will find it. The verbal section of it is pretty good. Keep track of the works you dont kno from the analogies, antonyms,SC,RCs. 3. You can refer to other bools too like: Kaplan, Princeton, Nova, Arco etc. Quant: It is quite easy for a maths student and if taken few efforts then also for a non-math student. Practice and practice is what you need. 1. You can first go through the Barrons review. It doesnt cover all the topics especially statistic but to start you can go for it. 2. You can use NOVA for quants. Pretty good book. 3. Solve the practice qtns given in Powerprep software. The CATs you should solve: Kaplan Princeton Cambridge Powerprep(must solve) if possible, Barrons. I hope your queries are answered. All the best for your preparation! |
