@ Todapeak:
You can't figure out from where questions will come. They might come from anywhere from earth (as well as from mars, neptune, .... & pluto). Try to prepare your best, You might get one from PP or may not. And please remember, Powerprep will not give everyone the same question sets. So, the probability is fery little. So, far very few people has noted the sighting a PP question in real GRE. However, PP is called "Gold Standard" by test takers in measuring the preparation. Thanks ![]() Best of luck. [Pray for me as well] |

I assume you take the computer GRE right? Then, the number of questions answered correct does not have to correlate with the actual score because the test is adaptive. What adaptive means is that if you answer a question correctly, your next question will be more difficult and vice versa. So, what really matters is how difficult your questions are, instead of how many questions you get right. In particular, the first few questions are more important. If you get the first few wrong, your questions' difficulty will drop to a very low level and it is very hard to get back up.

milkyvincent is correct about the difficulty of your questions being a factor in your score.
If you got 12 questions correct and 18 questions wrong, then every time you got one wrong, the computer gave you an easier question next. correctly answered easy questions do not give you as many points as correctly answered hard questions. And you won't get any hard questions unless you answer many questions correctly. I'm not sure where you got the number 320 from. Without knowing the difficulty level of the questions, there's really no way of guesstimating a scaled score. Good luck on your next try! |

Hi fagun333,
I agree with milkvincent and cristofer, you cant judge your score based on only the number of questions answered correct, it greatly depends on the difficulty level of the question. I suggest you take some Mock tests before appearing for the GRE 2nd time. You may try Kaplan, Princeton or THE BIG CD. All of them have great tests. All the Best! regards mad_dy |
