910 to 740 & still declining... What's wrong?

The issue: I know more math more vocab than ever but my score is declining/stagnant.

The story:
In 2006 I took my first GRE I scored a 910 even though I did NOT know any High School math. This included basic exponent rules, factoring, and simple algebraic manipulations. I was studying with my g/f who was a math major at the time. In the summer of 2007 I took a Princeton review class, studied 4 hours a day, got extra help and my score on the subsequent GRE was an 820. Needless to say Pricetone refunded my money.

I was very fortunate that I was accepted into a master's program in industrial organizational psychology at Hofstra University. It was here that I developed my love for statistics. So without knowing any high school math I excelled at the three classes in statistics that were offered (ANOVA, Regression, Factor analysis) I aced all three. How? Not sure but I loved the stuff! During this time I met a friend who taught a GRE class for a major firm.

So during the summer my friend allowed me to sit in on his GRE. I also took additional classes at a community college that taught all the stuff I missed in HS (two classes (001 & 002 both pre-algebra courses). I can now do all the stuff I mentioned above and am currently on track to Calc 2. Let me also mention my undergrad GPA was 3.99, my graduate GPA was 3.89. I've done plenty of research, I've consulted with businesses doing survey design and implementing MBO's.

So last week (10/1/2009) I sit down to take a practice GRE test with all my new knowledge of algebra, statistics and the help of my friend; BAM! 810. WTF!

With scores as low as 910 there isn't a chance a graduate school in quantitative psychology will even look at me. Let alone any other field within psychology. I won't make that first "GRE cut."

The Question:
Has this happened to anyone else? If so what did you do?
If anyone has managed to have a school over look GRE scores how did you do it? Thanks for reading!

My History of GRE exams:
10/1/2006 400 510 910 Offical GRE test
7/11/2007 350 390 740 Practice Test
8/1/2007 450 480 930 Practice Test
9/1/2007 350 470 820 Offical GRE test
10/1/2009 380 430 810 Practice Test

Are you finishing the exams? On CATs, if you don't finish, there is big score penalty, bigger than if you just answer all the questions wrong at the end.

Why don't you post some problems with your method of reasoning so that we can see how you might be approaching problems incorrectly or inefficiently.
