Pls gimme advice... need it badly

Hi,
I'm planning to give my GRE for fall 2010 and prep is goin on well .... Quant is just about done and side by side I've been doin some vocab.... I just finished my graduation so have nothin else on my plate..... will it be prudent to take my exam in the last week of nov? Is it enuf time for a good score? say bout 6-8 hrs of study per day..... pls gimme some advice....

I think you have a good plan. Just make sure you stick to your study schedule and take a few practice tests to measure your progress. Good luck!

yarrum just joined TestMagic.
depends on your level and what scores you want.. i started at q600 and v480 and it took me 5 months to study. 3 months memorizing barrons list, 2 months on math.. final score Q790, V710, AW 5.5. Worked about 7 hours per day

If you make a good study plan & stick to it, you can do it. Give Mock tests and evaluate your progress in each type of question after every test. GRE BIG CD provides a detailed analysis, chk it out.

Hi everybody !!

I am new to this forum...i am preparing for gre can anyone guide me what all materials i need to practice and how much time i need to give for preparation..i tried for gre big book bt i cannot find it in the market so i bought barrons and kaplan. so is tht enough??..Also please someone guide me how to make effective use of this forum and how to prepare for the exam....
