section exit at the essay section

Hello everybody,

I took the GRE a week back and did pretty well in the V&Q (740 & 760)sections.
Except, there is this thing bothering me. I haven't got back my official scores yet and am a little concerned about the issue task submission at the test.
The time was close to being up when I clicked 'section exit'. I did not get a chance to confirm exit at the next window, and ran out of time, and then was directed into the argument task automatically.
Is there a chance my issue task did not get submitted at all? What happens when the time runs out?

I don't think you need to worry. Exiting any AWA section results in whatever you typed being submitted. ETS could really design a better interface for AWA, since I have seen a lot of people worried after the test facing the same dilemma as you.

Also, depending on your location, it can be more than a month for your official scores to arrive. So, stop looking for the mailman already.
