Hi wallace758,

I know of a mobile application for vocabulary building which is pretty good. it is called 'the complete mobile wordlist' but dont know if it works on i-phones or not. maybe you can check with the company (edusoftech.com).

Regards,

I use the Kaplan GRE Vocab. I like it because it has 3 levels (easy, medium, and hard) and it forms a quiz for you that mixes words you know with those you don't.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I used the Kaplan Vocab app too. It was the only app that I have ever bought. I think it was very useful!

if you have Android phone, you may try this app: GRE Droid
webcipe.com/gredroid

it provides adaptive quiz and you can just load a new text file with new words and definitions you download from anywhere to the app when you have mastered the words in your old list! You just need to tell the app the delimiter between the vocab and the definition.

It has Text-to-speech enabled fro flashcard function too!
