hello everyone this is my first post on this wonderful forum.. i am in my final year of engineering (CSE) and planning to give GRE soon.. problem is that inspite of having decent academic record in school , i have had backlogs during my graduation(6 to be precise)..
Although i have cleared all of them and have a decent aggregate of 71% till date but i am afraid that my history of backlogs will hamper my chances of admission to a good university.. I am not planning to opt for any US uni.. and am aiming for only cananda for my masters.. The universities i hope to go to are 1. Uni of waterloo 2. U of Toronto 3. uni of Alberta 4. McGill suppose i get a good score in GRE.. say around 1400 .. then do i stand a chance to get into any of these universities?? i am very tensed and nervous about the situation i am in right now.. so will need some suggestions ... |

hey varun......definitely your GRE score can compensate your backlogs.I heard from my cousin who just got admitted to the University in U.S had a very low aggregate of not more than 70% and many history of backlogs too.Think your academic results will also be given a equal importance though, but you have a greater probability to get into the school of your aspiration if you get your target score of 1400.Dont be tense about the situations because cost is also the factor to consider in order to gain admission. For now,you keep spelling GRE GRE GRE and leave all to a second thought.Try your best..........
Good luck |
