col B: 1.0002/1.0001

answer is B

2.col A: 0.9999/0.9998
col B: 1.0002/1.0001

answer is A

what's the trick here?

cola :99999*10001
col b:10002*99998

cola (99998+1)10001
colb (10001+1)99998

cola:10001 subtracting 99998*10001 from both side
colb:99998
Column B is greater
