MISS_MAYA
Does anyone know how effective is the Hit Parade word list from the Princeton Review? I memorized the entire list of about 350 words, but everybody here talks about Berron's review which freaks me out, because in my home country there's no way I can find that book, and I'll be in the States only a few days before the exam. Please let me know anything about this. Thanks, Maya
serg14
Hey Maya, You may find the copy of barron's master list here: http://www.wordhacker.com/en/article/barron_gre_word_list_a.htm Using this list together with http://www.webster-dictionary.org/ for complete word definitions should significantly increase your GRE-vocabulary. No matter what your initial verbal skill is. Princeton's 350 hit parade is good aswell, but the probability, that you meet the word from this list at the actual exam is relatively small. ncy111
Princeton Review's list is really short, so you should find another list to study from. Whether it's Barron's or something else, the main thing to remember is the more words you learn the better.
