Amount of time for break between sections

I read that you get a 1-minute break between sections, except for the middle where you get a 10-minute break.

When I use the PowerPrep software, after the 60-second break is up, they show you the instruction page. It seems as if you can stay on the instruction page for a while without being timed for it. Is this how it works on the real exam? How much time do you get for reading the instructions? Would you say that you can take longer than a 60-second break since you are given extra time for the instruction screen?

    Hi ComputerUser

Had made the same observation and was wondering if you got a reply to your query or if you experienced the same during the GRE exam.

Apparently, this issue was raised earlier as well here but there weren't any conclusions: -

Please share what you observed in case you are through with your GRE.

    Thanks!!
