Hi friends,
Im a commerce graduate from India. At present im doing my MCA from IGNOU. By B.Com results were not at all good.(around 55-60%)
And im planning to go for GRE so that i can study MS in Comp science or MIS.
So according to your knowledge is it worth to go for GRE with such academic record, as i will need scholarship too because im from a middle class family.
Please suggest me wether i should go for GRE or not.
I will be eagerly waiting for replies.
Thank You.

Sri is on the way!
Karan, first things first ur GPA is not the only thing that makes or breaks ur application, unless u apply to a university that need specific numbers.. Also, there are universities which are not necessarily in the top tier but still have good ties with companies...U might wanna research a li'l bit regarding this. I am not very sure about the asstship status in most of the univs except a very few where I know for sure that there are still funds available inspite of the economic downturn......And as far as taking GRE goes, IMHO its totally upto u. U r the only person who can decide which is best for u....We, as friends can only tell u the pros and cons about ur options .
