sree, it doesnt matter where u belongs. I have taken my GRE in Dec but from delhi

i remmember few words , may be they are helpful
since we cannot reproduce GRE words, i'll probably say these are very very very high frequency words ( Erin)
muzzy, tempestuous, pan, execrate, motheaten, sham, mollify , placate (word list with m is important (experience) )

i remmember one of my maths question which also appeared in one of my friends exam :-

This is high freq question
how many 5 digit numbers are there with first and last odd. (simple)

Smart, Pankaj...!

Then, I should tell you, Sree, that the best way to prepare for the test is to try and improve your vocabulary.

If you consider the large pool from which the questions for your test are picked from, you will quickly realize that knowing a handful of actual GRE (err... excuse me pankaj, high frequency).....questions is of no use. You can spend this time on better/more useful things!

All the best!

The pool of GRE vocab is enormous--30,000 to 70,000 words (never seen a stated fact about this...). The chance that you'll ever see any word again is very low.

Also, ETS downloads each test only a few hours before the test begins. It doesn't matter where you are--the US, hyd (whatever that means), Paris, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, Sri Lanka, whatever--all tests are essentially the same.

Sri is on the way!
Erin, hyd is short for HYDERABAD, the capital of our (me , Raghuveer and other APites on this forum) state Andhra Pradesh (aka AP). Its popularly called as CYBERABAD bcoz of all the Hi-Tech revolution that took place there in the past 5-7 years...Well, if u r interested u can visit the following website http://www.hydonline.com or http://www.cyberabad.com.
