    Hi Vasu,

The method that works for you is the best one. Really there is no one best method.

I attacked the word lists in Barrons first. My other weak spot was RC. Here Arco saved me. For antonyms and sentence completions supervoca.com was my choice.
    Hope this helps you.

    Hi Vasu,
Good prep books for gre are kaplan, princeton and the big book. There are few websites too which you can refer to:-
    www.supervocab.com
    www.downdowndown.net

    for verbal practice.
Give a diagnostic test so you know where you stand and which are your areas of weakenss. There is a post by 'flounder' on how to study for gre...check it out.
    hope this helps.

    hi again!

I have just started my prep. for GRE so i am mainly concentrating right now on improving my vocab. but do you think i should start doing the essays also. I have seen the kind of essays that come in GRE and i am a little apprehensive regarding them. If i should doing essays right now then how should i go about preparing for them.

First finish wordlists and then give tests. Then you may do your essay preparation , if you feel you need that . Besides , It does not take much time for essay preparation.
