Anyone else notice there are a lot of computer science & engineering people here?

    Hey everyone,

I have been a lurker for a while. Has anyone else noticed that there are a lot of computer science and engineering people here trying to get into graduate school and looking for help with the GRE? There is no problem with this, but I have been wondering why I don't see many people from other disciplines. Surely there are people in other disciplines that want to get into graduate school, but they seem underrepresented on these boards.

My own theory for why we have so many more CS and engineering people looking for help on these boards is because of the nature of their discipline.

    What are your thoughts?

    I think so,cause I'm a CS engineer as well

Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.

Yes, I agree. Let's dilute their community with other majors !
BTW, I'm a chemistry student. The only communicating chemistry student, as I can see so far.

Graduated in Fall with a BSEE. Been looking for work since and have decided it is probably best to go back and study more. -Jay
