pls suggest me

hi all
i am from india and i did my msc in biochemistry and now am planning for phd in bioscence( molecularbiology/microbiology). i had taken my gre and i got very low score, i want to take it agian in the month of November again ( am plannig for fall 06). my doubts are
1. will this (writing the gre second time) affect the getting the chances of aid and RA/TA??
2. is it will afffect the getting VISA??
3. how much does versity expect ( gre score)
4. how is the copetition

my GPA is 3.9/4 ( am the topper in scool and college and university from my childhood )
i have 2 years research and work experiece.
i got stong and good recos from the professors of my college


some friends of mine suggested these universities

can any body suggest me which are the universities are good for bioscences??with aid( remember my profile while and chances of getting admission and aid pls) ples sugest me

Hi,
Normally universities take the highest score only. So, don't worry about reatking your GRE. And has absolutely nothing to do with your visa.
The competetion is something exclusive to each uni., and it is up to you to find it out from the university. Retaking the GRE has nothing to do with your scholarships too, provided u get a better score. So, don't confuse yourself.

retake your GRE for fall '06. u have ample time for that. low score lowers chances to get VISA too...........

you have not mentioned you GRE score.....how the he** can anyone speculate ??
