Does ECA Help!!
hey just a thought, can Participation in Games like Softball, Baseball (not tht popular in India) from the state and in Inter-university level and securing a position helps in some kinda sports scholarship if there is any? Also it may show your ECA.
I have 72% in enggn and interested in MS in CS.. Kindly help... |

I think what he means is that:
"participation in sports helps" is what he read in the book "wanna study in the US" by Natasha Prathap. (a very nice book, esp. for indians). but personally i do not know if that is the case... |

I think extra-curricular activities such as sports and others not-related to your field of interest are only relevant when you're applying for undergraduate studies as a means of diversifying between students who don't have a lot of info on their CV because they are still young.
