Hey andrea,
Well iam just donw with all 50 once..(ofcourse revising them every now and then..)..I wouldnt say iam very confident about all 50 though...!! and yes..i have started with the power prep practice questions..i gess i need lots of practice..when arre u taking up your test btw ??
Cheers,
Archana.
Hi,
I read that you have already finished all 50 lists of Barrons. I myself have finished only 10 so far.
Did you just memorized the words as it is given, or you used some kind of technique, like grouping the words or something..
Now as you have finished so many words, do you feel that Verbal section is easier or you still see all the new words in the practice tests?
Let me know por favor, el seņor.
VM
Well vm,
iam just done with them once- and thats definitely not enuf !! What i did was to do one/two wordlists per day ( if i knew most of the words in a wordlist i would do one more depending ont he time factor..) i would revise them the next day before proceeding on to the next one..i marked the ones which i dint rememeber and made sure i go thru them every now and then...
And i definitely cant say i find i very easy n all-but atleast am able to get 60-70% of the questions right !! I think only repeated learning and taking loads of practice tests would help !! There are so many links provided on TM itself-u can have a look at all of them for practice - i just finished with the powerprep practice questions - and i havent performed that well-esp on the RC and analogies - but it wasnt too bad either ( like i would get 10/14 right..or something like that ) Iam just hoping 2 months of vigorous testtaking and repeated learning would suffice to get a decent score-btw when are u taking thy test ?
HI Archu,
thanks for replying. I am taking my test on July 25th. I am really nervous about it. I have started and have managed to memorize 15 of the 50 word lists, so far. I am doing pretty much the same as you did. Hopefully, I will be able to finish it at least one week before my test. bI have a long way to go, and have very little time.
I haven't done a lot of practise. Can somebody tell me few links to practise especially Verbal.
Thanx
VM
