I know the GRE computer-based-test calculates scores in a screwy manner, but maybe some of you can help me estimate from your experiences. Let's say I get the first 5 questions right in the quantitative. After that, how many of the remaining problems do I need to get right if I want a score above 760? Does anyone know the algorithm used by the GRE?

From what I've read in one of Arco books, roughly we need at least 32/35 questions, to get 760. I don't know the exact algorithm, but at least we have to achieve up to that mark to get what we want.
