I recently discovered that BIGCDTESTS.COM allows you to take 10 free practice GRE tests online. The prompts they use are nearly identical to PowerPrep. I also noticed that these tests seem to include a lot of questions similar to those in ETS's BIG BOOK. Here's the bad news: the QUANTITATIVE practice tests on BIGCDTESTS.COM seem insultingly easy. They score very harshly to compensate (ie. make a single mistake and you drop down to a score of 740 in quantitative). I also noticed they have a few errors in the tests here and there. Am I smoking dope or am I right about how easy the quantitative sections seem?
Also, ARE THE TESTS ON THAT web site THE SAME AS THE TESTS ON their BIG CD that they sell?
BIGCDTESTS.COM is a subsidiary of Edusoftech-- the company that puts out the BIG CD preparation software. I've heard many say that the BIG CD tests are very challenging. In fact, I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about Edusoftech yet. I want to buy their CD, but the tests online are so much easier than PowerPrep that I am completely confused.
By the way, is the math in the real GRE as challenging as the GMATprep tests?
